What’s the best thing about working in this industry?

The best thing about working in the industry is that I never lose the thrill of going to a building site and seeing how an idea has become a reality.

What’s something you’d still love to learn?

Something I would still love to learn is how to weld, as well as how to play a pedal steel guitar.

What is your area of expertise within architecture and design?

A few of my areas of expertise within the architecture and design industry are institutional and educational, multi-family, and new ground-up construction.

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

In the future, I hope to see more building products made out of captured carbon, more green and sustainable design and the use of clean energy. I would also like to see micro housing for the homeless and working poor.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“You don’t regret what you do, you regret what you don’t do.”
