Betzally Mendoza

Associate, Project Manager | Technical Designer

Where were you born?

I was born in Venezuela, and I moved to the United States when I was ten years old.

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

In the future, I hope to see more collaborative spaces for architects and designers to work – and more women in the field!

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

I have always been artistic, and from a young age, I had a passion for architecture and T-squares! I was 15 when I took my first elective architecture course in high school, and that is when I decided this profession was for me.

What is something you collect?

I like to collect magnets from every destination I visit – my refrigerator is packed!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Work harder so that you can play hard.” – My Grandma
