What kind of projects do you want to work on (or technology you want to use) in the future?
Retail, food service, and residential projects. They may be seen as two separate worlds; but I think they both thrive on good space planning and creativity, which I enjoy.
What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?
The integration of technology on a deeper level and the use of durable recycled materials,
When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer? (Or whatever you are, if you’re not an architect/designer!)
I wanted to study Advertising and Public Relations, but the University was too far from my parent’s house so decided to start college in Marketing, at a campus closer to home. I was influenced by my high school friends who were in the Architecture program, they always asked to help make the models for their assignments. I decided to switch careers and here I am!
What is something you collect?
Shoes, some clothes that I hope will fit again one day, and random crafting items I would like to make something out of but never get to.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to your instincts and speak your mind when possible. Nothing worse than regretting not acting upon something.
What is your favorite hobby?
Going out to dance or to try out a new bar or restaurant.
Who inspires you the most in your field?
All the women that on a leading or decision-making position.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Clay sculpting and painting.
Any other interesting fact about you?
I like listening to EDM music and going to EDM concerts.
