New Restaurants for the Triple T Hospitality Group

Multiple locations
Brand Expansion

Mancini has been collaborating with the Triple T Hospitality Group on a series of restaurant build-outs that have helped expand its reach from three locations in 2019 to 11 today.

Taking advantage of the real estate vacancies that piled up in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, in just three years, the Triple T Hospitality Group has grown from three locations for one restaurant brand to 11 locations for two distinct brands: the original Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, and its sister brand Tio Taco + Tequila Bar. As Triple T has grown, so has Mancini’s support, with our firm assisting the company with multiple build-outs in New Jersey and Delaware.

Triple T Hospitality Group Project Process

We began our work in March 2021, replacing the existing architect of record for the construction of a new 10,000-sf ground-up restaurant located at 1007 Route 1 in Edison, New Jersey. Although much work had already been done—construction was already approved by the Township of Edison—we revisited some aspects of the design with the client using walkthroughs generated by our proprietary virtual-reality design process, the 360 Design Session.

This was followed by documentation support for a proposed dual Tommy’s/Tio build-out at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey; a full scope of services for a 20,000-sf dual Tommy’s/Tio build-out at the Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware; a full scope of services for a 7,000-sf gut renovation at 40 Centerton Road in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
