The project entails a 6,200 square-foot renovation and expansion of the existing Lufthansa airport lounge, with a focus on enhancing customer experience.

Upon entry, guests are welcomed by a lively bar and buffet-style self-service area, designed to be the hub of activity. Moving further into the lounge, the first-class serviced dining area and work zones are strategically positioned away from the entrance, kitchen, and buffet to heighten privacy and create distinct zones of activity. The lounge’s footprint was expanded to create a more open and airy atmosphere, with custom millwork dividers and thoughtfully positioned furniture providing subtle privacy.
The bar and its striking gantry act as a central design element, anchoring the various zones around it.

The project also addressed unforeseen base building conditions discovered after the asbestos abatement, requiring adaptive solutions to maintain the integrity and schedule. This expansion not only enhances the functionality of the space but also upholds Lufthansa’s commitment to offering a premium, tailored experience for its passengers.
