New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Jackson Heights, Queens location was originally programmed as an extension to the hospital’s ever-growing Orthopedic and Physical Therapy medical practices. The final program consists of a combined entry/waiting area that is centralized to distinct administrative, clinical and gymnasium areas.

Key to the clinical layout is the creation of nine exam/consultation rooms, a centralized procedure room and satellite medical assistance stations that allow for full coverage staff touchdown areas and a reduction in travel distances. The plan of the Therapy/Gymnasium allows for maximum sunlight, as well as distinct areas for initial exams, lay down treatment, physical therapy equipment, and occupational therapy work areas.
