575 Lexington Avenue Lobby Renovation
Mancini Duffy was recently engaged by Normandy Real Estate Partners to reposition its property at 575 Lexington Avenue for a dynamic market. The building’s exterior and lobby had received major overhauls since 1990, but still needed to create a distinctive impression from the street. Our new design for the building’s base lightened the storefront with white stainless steel that still connects to and references the existing black grid above.
The entry, clad in white marble, now extends to two stories, and features a canopy whose form continues into the lobby, creating a visual connection between the interior and exterior.
Inside, we restored to the lobby some of the dimensions it lost in a previous renovation, and added a high-definition media wall displaying natural landscapes and other imagery to suit clients and special occasions. Today, we’re working with the client to completely renovate the curtain wall from the 18th floor on up
