Mancini provided architectural services for Sterling Project Development to renovate and modernize the new NYPD Command Center at 27 Cliff Street, Manhattan, NY. The 20,000-square-foot project involved redesigning and upgrading the existing five-story building to meet NYPD and NYC DCAS standards.The program included enclosed offices, workstations, conference rooms, break areas, an armory, locker rooms, restrooms, locker room, pantries, stress relief rooms, and flexible workspaces. The scope also covered interior finishes, stairways, the rear entrance, and upgrades to the building’s MEP/FP systems to ensure ADA, FDNY, and current code compliance.

Additionally, security and engineering improvements were made at the nearby parking garage. Structural updates and compliance measures were implemented, while maintaining the building’s existing structure. During the duration of this project, our team placed focus on providing a comprehensive design and construction package to expedite project execution efficiently.
