Tania Siriapismai
Associate, Senior Interior DesignerWhy do you like to work at Mancini?
Mancini has a great team atmosphere. Even if everyone is swamped with projects, there’s always someone to lend a hand in a crunch. It is also great to see how diverse our team’s skill sets are. It’s great to work with others you know you can learn from and grow with as we move forward.
What’s something you’d still love to learn?
We have a lot of technology in the office. I’d love to learn how to use the 3D printer. There’s always an opportunity to dig deeper into a more holistic design like custom furniture or decor; we could expand those opportunities by utilizing the 3D printer.
What’s something you collect?
Whenever I travel somewhere, I send myself a postcard with a fun fact or memory from the trip. It’s been fun collecting them over the years and a fun way to document something special from my travels that I can look through in the future. I love the ritual of eventually getting my postcard when I return home after a trip. It’s a fun surprise that reminds me of my latest trip – almost like hitting the snooze button!
What do you hope to see in the future of architecture and design?
it’s interesting to see how much augmented and virtual realities are coming into our day-to-day lives. It’s been great to design in 3D live with clients, so they can see their feedback instantly mold their projects. As products become increasingly available, we hear clients asking to integrate future-forward technologies into our projects. It’s expanding our job of designing space beyond the walls of environments into these third digital spaces.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Extremely efficient spatial organization. Think real-life Tetris! I love putting things together in the best way possible.
