Brian Malley

Technical Designer

Why do you like to work at Mancini?

There’s a strong sense of passion at Mancini for the craft of our profession.

What’s something you’d still love to learn?

I’m a lover of all things automotive; someday, I’d like to learn to fly small aircraft.

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

With the built environment consuming as much energy as it does, I think we’re due for more net-zero and net-positive buildings surrounding us and more adaptive reuse of existing structures.

What is something you collect?

Analog music. There’s something nice about putting down the phone, flipping through physical albums, and taking the time to put on an LP to get your music going. I love the warm sound, and of course, the full-size album art looks great on the wall.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The expert at anything was once a beginner.

Any other interesting fact about you?

Once upon a time, I was a Park Ranger for the National Park Service.
