Boston Offices

As a growing, global entertainment company that relies on a technology-fluent workforce, Spotify expanded into an energetic new office space in Boston, Massachusetts. As Architect of Record, Mancini outfitted four floors of 3 Center Plaza to create a bold office space that aligns seamlessly with their brand, culture, and practices of work.

Spotify Boston Design

Designed in two phases, this Boston office featured open workspaces, private offices, conference and meeting rooms, coffee bars, training rooms and a performance space that can hold events for up to 200 people for concerts, presentations and town halls. Each floor’s work areas are subdivided into various “neighborhoods” inspired by Boston’s rich cultural areas, like Back Bay or Harvard. Phase one included completion of floors 6 and 7, while Phase two will encompassed floors 8 and 9, the former of which holds the performance space dubbed “Spotify Hall” and the “Downtown” conference and amenity center. Floor 9 holds the office’s recreation zone and outdoor terrace.
