New York Open Center

New York, NY

The New York Open Center, a center for holistic learning and world culture, relocated from their SoHo location to a new space in Midtown Manhattan. Mancini Duffy worked with the client to provide a space that both kept with the Center’s identity and provided for its programmatic needs. The challenge was to create an uncommon environment with a very limited budget. The new space occupies a portion of the first, second, and third floors of a new building. The entrance lobby features a café, bookstore, and the registration department for the classes offered on the second and third floors. Sustainable materials were used throughout the space.
