Known as Montefiore Orthopedics & Spine Center on the 10th Floor at Hutch Tower. Montefiore is preparing to construct and operate this extension facility to support their ongoing mission as a provider of high-quality, culturally competent health care services to underserved individuals via construction of a new specialty practice space. Recent data has indicated that there is a need to expand this existing D&TC in Bronx County at this location and Montefiore’s research has shown that there is a significant need for medical care related specifically to Orthopedic & Spine exam, assessment, and consulting services geared towards this underserved community area.

Montefiore Orthopedics & Spine Center Design

The proposed new construction will include a total of 24 Orthopedic exam rooms and 13 Spine exam rooms. Support spaces include waiting/reception area, staff & support areas, charting areas, medical consulting rooms, patient assessment rooms, administrative staff offices and other work areas, as well as medicine distribution room, clean and soiled utility, storage, toilets, staff lounge/lockers.
