Fitzpatrick Cella’s Contemporary New York Offices

New York, NY
Fitzpatrick Cella‘s Office Design

This project marked the first time in this law firm’s 40-year history that its New York headquarters has been planned and designed expressly for them.

Mancini was engaged by Fitzpatrick (now part of Venable LLP) to evaluate real estate options for either an in-place renovation or a relocation. The firm occupied three full floors at 30 Rockefeller Center that were insufficient for their evolving needs. After presenting a detailed analysis of our findings, which enabled Fitzpatrick to make an informed business decision about which real estate scenario best suited their long-term needs, both from a real estate and a capital expenditure perspective. Based on our findings, the client decided on a relocation to an all-new 130,000-sf space at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

As leaders in intellectual property law, their employees came from an unusually broad mix of scientific and industry backgrounds, and so the new headquarters better reflected the firm and its culture: less traditional and more classically contemporary in style.

The new space included a conferencing center, a multi-purpose training room, a staff pantry with outdoor terrace, and fully upgraded technology and video-conferencing.
