Bal Harbor, FL

Based on a prototype developed in Italy, the project involved the layout, design, and detailing of a complex set of overlapping display platforms within a minimalist store backdrop. The design goal was to create an atmosphere in which signature Fendi merchandise was approachable and casually displayed – to break from the museum-like quality of most high-end boutiques. Materials are used in their original state: raw steel, Wenge wood tables, stucco wall panels, and folding mirrors in a monochromatic color palette. A new facade was developed as an extension of the store interior.
