Celularity Lab

Celularity is a next-generation biotechnology company founded in 2016 that creates off-the-shelf cellular medicines for cancer, infectious diseases and degenerative diseases.

Their 150k SF headquarters, located in Florham Park, NJ. includes laboratory and advanced manufacturing space for cellular medicine and biomaterials. They approached Mancini to review their organization and make strategic upgrades and expansions to critical components of their research facility,¬ including converting 7,500 sf of the headquarters’ office space into a non-ISO lab facility.

Mancini designed 3 distinct lab departments including one for cold storage processing and another for sample management. The new facility included key components of laboratory support functions, such as intake, sterilization, storage, inspection, and waste holding. Mancini outfitted all finishes to be ISO compliant which will allow Celularity the flexibility to easily upgrade their facility in the future without significant research downtime.
