Continuing our commitment to designing such facilities for our clients, we’re currently in the process of designing a new self-storage tower at 615 West 46th Street in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen.

615 West 46th Street Design

This project represents a 14-story self-storage tower encompassing 1,200 storage units over 83,000 rsf, a size and mass achieved by combining neighboring lots and their air rights. Given the novelty of a self-storage tower in Manhattan, it was important to use design to advertise its purpose to people on the sidewalk and cars in the street—not only through signage, which we sized as much as zoning will allow, but also through judiciously placed windows on the ground and top floors, offering a view inside. Our work began in November 2021. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2025.
