43 Bleecker St. Design
Currently owned by DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners who intends to reposition the 46,310 gsf building to develop code-compliant, Class A commercial and retail spaces, as well as adding a 2,100 sf penthouse on the roof. The ground floor will incorporate a historical style with a full gut and white-box fit-out for future retail. A separate entrance and lobby will be created for the rooftop penthouse space. The cellar will be fit out for a future retail tenant. The remaining floors will be designed as a white box space with restrooms and pantries for future commercial tenants.
New elevators and elevator vestibules will be provided serving all floors. The exterior will include brick restoration, parapet work as well as new ground floor storefronts at Bleecker Street and Jones Alley. The rooftop will be repositioned to incorporate occupiable amenity spaces. A trellis structure is anticipated along with restrooms and interior spaces to service the amenity.
