TSX Broadway Demolition Passes Halfway Mark
The redevelopment of 1568 Broadway—known as TSX Broadway—reached a major milestone this week as it surpassed the halfway point of demolition. Where the 46-story tower formerly stood, more than half of its floors have been demolished. The 30-year-old, 470-foot-tall superstructure, formerly a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, will be replaced with a new hotel. The development will activate more than 75,000 square feet of retail space; 4,000 square feet of performance venue space; 30,000 square feet of dining space; and a 669-key hotel. The podium will be wrapped with 51,000 square feet of LED signage with a wraparound corner.
