Springfield, Illinois

Where is your favorite travel destination?

My favorite place to travel would be back to Illinois to visit family.

Learn to make homemade sushi!

Describe Mancini’s company culture in one word?

Evolving

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

I hope to see more bold and vibrant designs. I think the current zeitgeist has become very “Beige Era” coded. I would like to see design go back to pushing the envelope and allowing people to experience the built environment in a new perspective.

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

I started playing with building blocks when I was young and knew that I wanted to create space from the age of 4.

What is something you collect?

My partner and I have always had a strong love for animals and quickly adopted our first two fur children years ago. As time went on we quickly adopted 2 other rescues along the way and now have a full house of 4 dogs.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love someone else?

What is your favorite hobby?

I’ve also gotten a green thumb from my Mom, so I am always out in the garden planting something new and patiently watching and waiting for a bloom!

Who inspires you the most in your field?

Anyone who can push limits

Do you have any hidden talents?

I love to paint and draw, so over the years I’ve been commissioned to do several murals in my free time.

Any other interesting fact about you?

My first drag performance was on the main stage of St. Louis, Missouri Pride!
