What kind of projects do you want to work on (or technology you want to use) in the future?

I would love to work on projects that focus on Education. I am excited to learn about the Design Lab technology.

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

I would hope to see more universal design and lots more color being implemented.

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

I knew that I wanted to be a designer when I was getting my liberal arts degree at Union County College. Exposing myself to art and art history classes ignited the feeling of wanting to make the world a better place through design.

What is something you collect?

I like to collect crystals and pretty shells that I find on the beach.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t pay mind to negative comments or advice.

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is buying a cup of coffee and going for walk. I love a good long walk; I could walk for hours.

Who inspires you the most in your field?

Roberto Burle Marx. He was not an interior designer; however, his landscape architecture is the coolest I’ve ever seen. There is much inspiration to gather from his care and attention to shape, color and the way he successfully exhibited plant life.

Any other interesting fact about you?

I am always up at 5am. I like my morning to be slow before taking on the day.
