I am always interested in new, innovative approaches to sustainable design and building materials.
When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?
Growing up in Queens, I used to ride the 7 train to Manhattan. Along most of the line, the train travels on an elevated track, which gave me the opportunity to see the construction of new buildings happening nearby. I was fascinated by the constant development and was excited to see what the buildings would come out to look like every time the train passed by.
What is something you collect?
Always be your authentic self and never try to be someone you are not to impress others.

What is your favorite hobby?
I like to draw sketches of cityscapes and street scenes.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I like to cook occasionally. Thanks to a cooking class while studying abroad in Rome, I know how to make several Italian dishes from scratch!
Any other interesting facts about you?
I used to swim with the Flushing YMCA swim team, where I qualified for the New York State swim meet three times.
