What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

I’d like to see architecture that’s more inspired by nature – something like a futuristic take on Gaudi’s style.

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

In 5th grade, there was a voluntary school competition in Technical Education, and the task was to build a model of anything. I created a windmill – using my mom’s kitchen bowl as a roof, which made the jury laugh. Although I didn’t win, I knew my path would lead to architecture.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Let it be & let it go.

Who inspires you the most in your field?

Leonardo da Vinci.

I used to be a basketball player and I’m adopted by a Native American tribe in Montana.
