What kind of projects do you want to work on (or technology you want to use) in the future?

I enjoy the challenge of figuring things out whether it’s how it works or how it can be put together. In the IT / CAD Management world this happens all day, every day.

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer? (Or whatever you are, if you’re not an architect/designer!)

Growing up my dad was always designing and building woodwork projects. I was fascinated with creating things too, but he would only allow me to build things I drew up on the drafting board. So, I started designing/drafting at an early age which continues today in both my professional and personal life.

What is something you collect?

Seems that I collect projects to do, whether it’s designing and building a gazebo or creating a new piece of furniture. My wife ensures I never run out lol.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“The only easy day was yesterday”

What is your favorite hobby?

Woodworking, gardening, and recreational shooting take up my free time.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m an avid do-it-yourselfer and very hands-on. I’ve remodeled several parts of my home and created some furniture.

Any other interesting facts about you?

I served 5 years in the Marine Corps which laid the groundwork for the person I am today. Nothing seems impossible once you’ve become a Marine.
