Bell Works

Holmdel, New Jersey

Mancini Duffy is proud to be a team member in an ambitious adaptive re-use of Bell Laboratories’ former headquarters in Holmdel, New Jersey. Designed by famed modernist architect Eero Saarinen in 1959 and once the site of many breakthroughs in the fields of computing, telecommunications, and astrophysics, this 2-million-square-foot building is being redeveloped as a site for Class A office space, high-end retail, food and beverage offerings, entertainment venues, and even a hotel.

We’ve been playing a multitude of roles in this expansive project. We’re helping to develop the interior master plan for this historic complex; we’re acting as the base building architect for nearly 320,000 square feet of office build-outs for iCIMS and WorkWave and over 60,000 square feet of retail area for tenant fit-outs; and are serving as the design architect for close to 250,000 square feet of office build-outs for such clients as Jersey Central Power & Light, Acacia, JGS Insurance, Guardian Life Insurance, and MetTel.
