Mancini designed and repositioned the 21,000-square-foot American Airlines Lounge at Philadelphia International Airport to create a more flexible space with diverse experiences for Admirals Club and Premium Lounge travelers.
A variety of spaces in each zone of the lounge caters to the unique needs of American Airline’s eclectic mix of business and leisure travelers, with offerings melding a co-working environment with hospitality services. Reconfiguring the Flagship Lounge provides American Airlines with a more streamlined and efficient facility to host their guests. Both the Admirals Club and Premium Lounge are divided into distinct zones—from business centers and quiet zones, to lounges and dining rooms—so that regardless of the reason for travel, every visitor has the privacy or space they need.
Mancini’s new design takes advantage of Terminal B’s architecture, following a sweeping curve to create new sight lines and destinations within the Flagship Lounge. The overall experience is heightened with high-end finishes and furnishings to create a luxe, stylish atmosphere.
