Where are you from, originally?

Back in the 1970s, my grandparents emigrated from Albania, seeking a better future and more opportunity for themselves and their children. I grew up in a small town in New Jersey where I could easily play with all the neighborhood kids—we didn’t get up to any trouble at all, I swear.

What’s the biggest highlight of your career?

The biggest highlight of my career is working as a project manager on the Muhlenberg Medical Arts Complex in Plainfield, New Jersey. What makes it special for me was the fact that only was it the largest, but it was the project I had the most creative freedom, able to design each unit inside the existing building shell. As the project manager, it was also on me to keep the project on track while maintaining what the client had envisioned.

Do you have any secret talents?

I wouldn’t call it a secret but I’m a pretty decent barber. My father, brother, and cousins all come to me when they want a free haircut.

What drew you to working here at Mancini?

I love the office location, the good vibes from everyone, the interesting projects and the quality of work that comes out of the studio. While I was interviewing, I was impressed by the overall culture and flexibility. Now that I’ve been here for a while, I can honestly say that my expectations have been exceeded—I can’t wait to continue growing and learning from the leaders I work with here.

What’s one accomplishment you’re most proud of?

Graduating from college was a huge day for me, not only was I the first person in my family to do it, but I was able to follow the career path that I had envisioned for myself since I was a kid.
