Describe Mancini’s company culture in one word?
Collaborative
What kind of projects do you want to work on (or technology you want to use) in the future?
I’m interested in continuing to work on mid- to large-scale corporate interior projects, particularly those involving complex workplace environments and shared amenity spaces. I’d also like to be more involved in lobby and amenity space renovations, where there’s an opportunity to shape high-impact, highly visible environments that influence both user experience and overall building identity.
When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?
I knew I wanted to be an architect in high school, when I realized I was drawn to the idea of creating spaces that meaningfully impact people’s daily lives in a positive way.
What is something you collect?
Books.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Take the time to step back and assess where you are in your career and be mindful about setting intentional goals throughout the year rather than letting the year just happen.
What is your favorite hobby?
I don’t really have one single favorite hobby, but I enjoy reading and traveling. I especially like going on trips to experience new places, which feels both restorative and inspiring.
Who inspires you the most in your field?
I’m most inspired by contemporary designers who focus on creating meaningful, human-centered spaces that balance function with experience. In particular, I look to designers like Bjarke Ingels for his approach to blending architecture, use, and narrative, as well as others in the field who are consistently pushing how interior and built environments can positively shape daily life.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I enjoy cooking and consider it a bit of a hidden talent—I find it both creative and grounding outside of work.
Any other interesting fact about you?
I studied in Rome during college, which gave me the opportunity to explore Italy more broadly, experience its historic architecture firsthand, and enjoy a lot of incredible food along the way.
