I’d love to work on creative public spaces that bring people together and use design to create better experiences.

What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?

I hope to see a shift toward more thoughtful, human-centered design that improves daily experiences.

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

When I had to choose my college path, I had a great teacher who helped us really understand different professions and what might draw us to them. One day, I came across a magazine describing architecture school, and something just clicked—I felt excited and confident that it could be the right path for me. Looking back, it absolutely was, and it’s been a really beautiful journey.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“When you see something beautiful in someone, tell them. It may take a second to say, but for them it could last a lifetime.” I saw it on a sign in San Diego.

What is your favorite hobby?

Thrifting

Who inspires you the most in your field?

I’d say Frida Kahlo. Even though she wasn’t an architect, her passion for art and the way she expressed her identity through her work and personal style really inspires me. But if I had to name an architect, it would definitely be Oscar Niemeyer.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I used to train Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira.

Any other interesting fact about you?

I love the beach and surfing.
