Keira McNeal

HR Director

Where were you born?

Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Where is your favorite travel destination?

That’s a tough one! My husband and I have been visiting Costa Rica for many years and love everything about the ‘Pura Vida’ life! But I cannot deny my love for Paris!

What’s something you’d still love to learn?

To play Piano, I played as a child and never stuck with it, I’d love to try again.

Describe our company culture in one word?

Rewarding

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer? (Or whatever you are, if you’re not an architect/designer!)

In Middle school I was a peer counselor, I loved it. I thought I’d be some kind of Psychologist/Therapist. Things didn’t go as planned and I fell into accounting, which led to HR, where I realized I could utilize my people skills after all!

What is something you collect?

I am obsessed with Vintage Pyrex; I can’t get enough! I am also a big collector of art… our walls are like a gallery of art produced mostly by friends and family and I am constantly reminded of the amazingly talented people in my life.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Maya Angelou once said, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” I think that’s pretty great advice!

What is your favorite hobby?

I love to entertain; we host most occasions in our home, as well as Sunday Funday almost every week. I also love to go to new restaurants, try new wines, and spend time with friends, family and our pets.

Who inspires you the most in your field?

In the field of Humanitarians, I would say Maya Angelou.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Not sure if it would be considered hidden, but I don’t miss much. Consider it observant or intuitive, noticeable or not, I probably heard it, saw it, or somehow know about it (whether I want to or not!)

Any other interesting fact about you?

I suppose an interesting fact is that I swam before I walked! Being a Floridian, at 10 months old in swim class, they threw me in, and I swam!
