What are some of the Mancini projects you’re working on?

I work on the Boqueria restaurant projects.

Where is your favorite travel destination?

I like to go anywhere with a group of friends to experience new cultures together. My last trip was to Egypt (right after it opened up to tourists from the COVID shutdown), and it was incredible to see what was built such a long time ago. It was hard to wrap my head around just how old it is!

Who inspires you the most in your field?

I have always had a fascination with David Rockwell, especially in college. I liked how his approach to restaurant design seemed to circle back to a theater or a theatrical moment. It was very inspiring to me as a young designer.

Any other interesting fact about you?

I laugh really loudly – you can usually hear my laugh on the other side of the office. And I’ve been told it’s contagious!

What can we find on your office desk?

A paper day planner because I like to keep track of everything by writing it down instead of using a virtual calendar.
