When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

Once I started studying and understanding the value of architecture at NJIT, I fell in love with it and never looked back.

What’s the biggest highlight of your career?

My career is still very young, and my highlights are changing almost every day as I get to work on bigger and better projects but my most recent one was as the project led on a residential single-family house. Understanding the client’s needs and implementing them into the design was challenge but once it was completed, and seeing the house built and occupied, has been a major highlight in my career.

Where is your favorite travel destination?

Barcelona! I went there four years ago on a study abroad program for three months. I instantly fell in love with the people, culture and the architecture. I loved it there so much that I went back for a week right before I joined Mancini.

What is something you collect?

I collect shot glasses from every place I have visited. It doesn’t matter if its small town one hour from my house or a different country, I make sure to get a shot glass. I probably have over 50 so far!

Any other interesting fact about you?

A lot of people find it surprising that I have a motorcycle. I got my license 5 years ago and I try to ride as often as I can. If I am stressed or it’s been an intense day, I go for a ride, it’s the most relaxing thing ever.
