Emily Anderson
Interior DesignerWhat is your favorite travel destination?
Florence, Italy. I have been once and would love to go again and explore it further.
What’s the best thing about working at Mancini?
Everyone is very open to hearing new ideas and is willing to facilitate the directions you are interested in pursuing.
What is something you collect?
Many things including rocks, small spoons from coffee shops, and I have over 5,000 stickers.
What kind of projects do you want to work on in the future?
I’m currently really interested in NFT architecture. As a concept, it’s not fully expanded upon yet, however, I’m interested in how it may develop and the opportunities it may hold.
When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?
As a kid I was constantly building structures in the woods behind my house and making objects with the raw materials I had; like swings from pieces of wood and jump ropes. This led me to the after-school program Odyssey of the Mind, where I started working with a team of my peers to solve complex problems. Later, I ended up deciding that I was going to apply to Industrial Design programs at different art colleges but ended up in an Interior Architecture program and fell in love with architecture and interiors.
