I was born in Florida but grew up in Egypt.
Where is your favorite travel destination?
My favorite destination so far has been Italy, it was an incredible experience. But I’d like to visit Morrocco next.
What’s something you’d still love to learn?
I would love to learn about nutrition, cooking, and physical health.
What are some of the projects you’re working on?
So far, I have been working on single-family residential projects but I am looking forward to gaining experience through different projects.

What kind of projects do you want to work on (or technology you want to use) in the future?
As a beginner, I would love to navigate as much as I can. I would be interested in working on different types of residential projects and interior design and also working on commercial in the future.
What do you hope to see in the future in the world of architecture and design?
I would like to see cities designed to support social cohesion. Multi-use Spaces that allow people to walk, socialize, and tailor to the communities’ needs. I would also like to see better integration of technology to assist in the design and drafting processes.
When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer? (Or whatever you are, if you’re not an architect/designer!)
When it was time for me to choose the major I wanted to be in for school, I decided architecture was the best suit for me. Before then, I would always enjoy looking at buildings and their design aspect and find them interesting.
What is something you collect?
I keep printed pictures of myself with family and friends and important events to keep the memories and look back at them later.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
To take each chapter of life at a time and not try to rush things or get frustrated for not being in a better place.
What is your favorite hobby?
My current hobbies revolve around working out, reading, and traveling.
Who inspires you the most in your field?
I believe Zaha Hadid is an inspirational architect especially since we come from a similar background from the Middle East. Creating a big impact in the architecture and design field and succeeding in a male-dominated field with bold and innovative designs is something to be inspired by.
Any other interesting fact about you?
I am fluent in English and Arabic and speak a little bit of German.
