NYULMC Miller Practice Project

Asked to program and design for a full fit-out on the 5th floor subsequent to ongoing work as the preferred firm with the leased building primarily occupied by NYULMC Miller Practice.

The project consists of 14 exam rooms, a blood draw lab, support space, and staff/doctor’s offices. The main waiting/reception area has open unobstructed views to the Manhattan skyline (similar to the 8th floor also created by Mancini) with large windows that allow sunlight into the space. Our design effort, once again, remained focused on custom designed ceiling in the waiting & receptions areas that continues to take advantage of the large floor to floor heights while emphasizing the loft like feel of this former TV production space.

By working closely with NYULMC interior group, we were able to establish a look and feel that is indicative of “an NYU space” and remains consistent with their finish & furniture standards previously established on other floors.
