In accordance with this NY based hospitals deep commitment to expanding clinical networks throughout New York City and the surrounding communities, this new multi-specialty care center was designed to meet the needs of 13,000 annual patient visits.
Mancini was asked to program, design and construct this new site featuring 15 exam rooms, a new X-ray machine, electrocardiogram equipment, and on-site blood draw/lab capabilities. Initial specialties will include cardiology, internal medicine, nephrology, gastroenterology, orthopedics and podiatry which allows patients to see multiple doctors in a single visit/location. The vision for the center is to provide the Queens community with care that meets the standard in a welcoming and highly functional space that keeps the overall wellbeing of patients, visitors and staff in mind. The 7,200 square foot clinical space was designed with a waiting room that takes advantage of large storefront windows to allow sunlight into the space and custom wood-slat ceilings at the nursing stations taking advantage of the large floor to floor heights in the building. Modern interior lighting and warm finishes enhance the overall patient/family experience.
