Bolanle Williams-Olley appointed as CFO to Help Catapult Mancini Through Continued Growth
NEW YORK, NY—Mancini Duffy, a technology-first architecture and design firm, further expands its executive team today with the promotion of Bolanle Williams-Olley to Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Williams-Olley will shape the vision of the firm to ensure its continued financial growth, to capitalize on opportunities to explore new technology, and to enable expansion into new markets and sectors in support of our clients’ goals.
“Our ability to explore new ways of enhancing design solutions and delivery through technology hinges on the financial diligence she provides,” acknowledges Christian Giordano, President of Mancini. “Bola makes sure we have the resources to push these boundaries on behalf of our clients so that we can make their lives better.”
Joining Mancini in April 2017 as Controller, Williams-Olley quickly aligned the firm’s financial strategy with its aspirations. Her combination of skills and experience shaped the current financial direction of the organization and cemented her position as a leader within the company.
“Bola brings a unique vision to finance—a resource that many firms overlook as a part of long-term strategy,” noted William Mandara, Chief Executive Officer of Mancini. “She sees opportunity where many of us just see numbers or limitations. She’s been instrumental in helping the firm achieve our growth over the last year and we’re looking forward to what she has in store next.”
Williams-Olley’s promotion comes on the heels of her successful year as Controller at Mancini and ten years of experience. Before joining the firm, she served five years as Senior Project Accountant at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and five years as Project Accountant at HLW. She recently received a Master’s in Education & Social Policy from New York University (NYU), and holds a Master’s in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the City University of New York (CUNY) at Hunter College.
“Mancini is setting a new and exciting stage for our industry, transforming from a traditional architecture and design firm into a technology-first, solution-driven practice,” says Williams-Olley. “The firm’s willingness to strengthen its core while pursuing its passion is inspiring, and I’m honored to make this transition to better support this passion.”
