When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?
I knew I wanted to be an architect when I was in kindergarten. I had a “building drawing club” with two of my friends and built my first “model” at age 5—my grandma still has it.

What’s the best thing about working at Mancini Duffy?
The culture—everyone is here to have fun while doing serious work. Everyone has a strong sense of ownership over our brand and it shows in the work we produce.
Best advice you’ve ever received?
“Pick your battles.” Sometimes as a designer it’s hard to give into client’s resistance to your design decisions. But at the end of the day, the design process is a two-way conversation and you have to keep the larger picture in mind.
What is something you collect?
I have a really obscure one: I’ve been collecting those jumbo souvenir pencils since I was a little kid. I have around 300 of them.
What’s the most unusual item in your desk drawer?
I have an Amazon Dash button for Goldfish crackers. You press the button and Goldfish is automatically delivered to the office!
