Andrew Lainis, RA

Associate, Senior Project Architect

When did you know you wanted to be an architect/designer?

As far back as I can remember I was always creating. I don’t think there was a moment when I knew this would be my path but I’ve been riding this wave not knowing where it would take me.

What drew you to working here at Mancini?

The Dolan Family Science, Research and Technology Building at Chaminade High School was the project that caught my attention.  Before I was with Mancini I would run past it regularly, always wanting to sneak inside and take a look.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“What got you here won’t get you there” – I see it all the time at Christian Giordano’s desk.

What is something you collect?

I recently started a cactus collection. I have one on my desk now and I’ve named it after James from our IT support team.

What do you look forward to exploring here at Mancini?

I look forward to learning more about VR. I keep hearing how positively it has impacted our clients and hope to implement it in my projects in the future.
